The Lanier Education Foundation will help the Lanier Cluster schools
empower students to achieve at high levels and foster their learning
through academics, leadership, service, and extra-curricular activities
that will positively impact their community and prepare them for a
post-secondary career and/or the work force.

Purpose
The purpose of the Lanier Cluster Education Foundation is to enhance, enrich, and extend the academic initiatives of the schools in the cluster. The foundation shall facilitate the acquisition of funds from community members, alumni, corporations, employees, and other foundations. This foundation will be the primary community organization contributing financial support to our students, teachers, and schools.
Goals
- Provide grants to teachers and schools that support the academic programs of the cluster schools.
- Provide scholarships to enhance and reward the academic achievement of students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Provide opportunities for community awareness and participation in the life of the cluster schools.
History
After a generous and supportive partnership with the North Gwinnett Schools Foundation, the Lanier Cluster Education Foundation is ready to stand on its own.
When the North Gwinnett Cluster was divided into two clusters, North Gwinnett and Lanier, the North Gwinnett Schools Foundation was exceptionally generous in offering to serve and support both clusters for multiple years. However, the Lanier Cluster has quickly experienced a tremendous amount of community excitement and support and developed enough independent strength to create its own identity and charitable organization, the Lanier Cluster Education Foundation.
The North Gwinnett Schools Foundation generously voted to continue supporting students that were formerly part of the North Gwinnett Cluster by sharing their endowment based on the percentage of
students that came to the Lanier Cluster. Their support is a significant reason we are able to forge the Lanier Cluster Education Foundation to uniquely serve our schools. The Lanier Cluster Education Foundation will now support all schools in the Lanier Cluster, including Lanier High, Lanier Middle, Sugar Hill Elementary, Sycamore Elementary, and White Oak Elementary.
